Caelyn Jean: Second year in pictures
Today is our Caelyn Jean's second birthday. Little did I know back in Dec of 2007 our life would finally become complete a short 9 months later. I am so blessed that she is apart of our family and she truely completes everyone in our little family. This second year was so much fun and we can't wait to see what this new year will bring us.

Two Year Pictures
My good friend from college's sister took pictures of Caelyn for her second birthday. She did a fabulous job I think. Caelyn is deffiently a completely different person then Chloe is when it comes to the camera. I couldn't believe how hard it was to get Caelyn to look at the camera. But I stilll love all the great photos Tasha got.
Meeeeeenie Mouse
So here in 4 days Caelyn Jean will be 2 years old. That means there are alot of new and exciting things to happen this next year, the most exciting being on September 7th she will start preschool!
This past weekend we help her family party because we will be at the lake this coming weekend to celebrate, Grandma (my mom), daddy, and Caelyn's birthday. The theme of her party was Minnie Mouse. Over the summer she really fell in love with Minnie. She sits and watched her in awe when she is on the Playhouse Disney show Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. So to me it was a given that her second birthday should be Minnie Mouse.

While Caelyn would tell you it was her birthday party and be very excited about it, the minute the party started, she shut down. She basically just was "there" and really didn't know what to think about the entire thing. One guest in particulas she kept watching, like she was waiting for them to do something. She just was not too sure of this person.

She wouldn't even blow out her candles, which I know she can do. I was actually expecting her to sing herself happy birthday as she had been doing it all week. But the silly girl, didn't say a word the entire time (and for those who know her, know that is not true. She is a talker).

She did not have any problems with the after part clean up though.

Difficult Time for the Wasem Family
This week has been a rough week (first I promise to put more post about the girls on). Monday we noticed out dog Punkin was limping really bad and she had a lump on her right shoulder. I took her to the vet and his suspicion was bone cancer. Tuesday we got the confirm on his diagnosis and on Wednesday morning we were saying our good byes. At 9:20 am Wednesday morning we had our precious Punkin put to rest. It was a hard decision but Dave and I know it was for the best. This is a horribly pain full and extremely aggressive type of cancer. When it is generally found it has already spread and it is too late. We didn't want her to be in pain so we made the choice to go ahead and let her have peace on a good day. She will be missed dearly.

These are from Wednesday.I swear she was always smiling at the camera. She is such a beautiful dog and was a great one as well. We have many wonderful memories of her to make us smile. I would also like to say in doing this post, it made me realize I have no puppy pictures of her on our "newer" home desktop and I really need to take our broken laptop to get everything retrieved off of it.
