T-R-O-U-B-L-E

I had walked out of the room the other day to help Chloe. When I came back in the kitchen I found Caelyn in a chair eating Chloe's cereal. So of course I had to place her on the floor to capture her climbing up on camera.

Fast Forward 12 yrs

Rewind 16 years and you would have found Nicole and I like this as well, but the Mustang was a 1994 Red with white drop top. =)

Chloe and her Big Girl Bike

I just had to add in some pictures of the classic "stop taking my picture mom" Chloe.

Bike Riding Fun

In February we were getting spring fever so we got the kids out of the house to ride their bikes. Chloe had lots of fun pushing Caelyn around on her tricycle she got from Santa.
Look who else got in on the bike riding fun.

Projects: Felt Food

All the rage is felt food. Haha, I just had to say that but it is. It is more realistic then the plastic stuff, it is eco-friendly, and the big WOW is you can throw it in the washer on delicate and line dry it. Well, my girls love it. They can't get enough of the ones they already have (thank you Aunt Lisa). They actually play with the felt food more than the plastic. So far they girls have a piece of chocolate cake, a cupcake, butterfly sugar cookie, round sugar cookie, a donut, bacon, a sunny side up egg, 2 pancakes, toast with jelly, a ham sandwich (2 pieces of bread, lettuce, cheese, & ham) chips, and strawberries (for give me Aunt Lisa if I for got something). Aunt Lisa made everything but the sandwich, strawberries, and chips. But for Easter their baskets are going to be full of food. I decided to slowly start making and replacing the plastic with felt food. Since I have been working I have had some down time at the office so I was able to take some sewing supplies and make the girls some felt food.

Sneak Peak: My projects

Lately I have been working on some projects for the girls. Some will be making their debut in their Easter baskets, and some they will be wearing for Easter. But I wanted to give you a small sneak peak of one of my many projects I have been working on .

Science: Seedlings

With Spring right aroundthe corner, Chloe and I start thinking flowers. Especially since her school just had a spring bulb fundraiser. Each year I have let Chloe pick seeds out and grown them in the planters on the patio. This year I thought it would be fun to start the seeds out in a indoor green house. Eaceh girl picked out a packet of seeds. Chloe picked Convolvulus (which are close to Morning Glories), Caelyn picked Cosmos, and I picked Poppies. It has been so much fun waking up each morning to see how the seeds have changes. We are waiting on one last row (of course my poppies) to fully sprout so we can plant them in out planters.

This is how they started out.

Here is the seeds just starting to sprout.

Here are the first few rows completely sprouted. Just need about 5 more pods to completely sprout.

Happy Spring!!

Friend's Party at Bounce U

This year Chloe had her friend's party at BounceU. It was alot of fun and we had great adult participation as well. We had her family party the day before. Those pictures will be posted next. BounceU has 2 rooms that you have access to for 40 minutes each. Both rooms have completely different bounce activities to do.

The first room has a huge slide, bounch house, and a obstical race course. All the kis, including Dave, enjoyed themselves.

The second room had two big slides that you had to climb "rock walls" to get to them. They also had a boxing ring and a ball pitwith air guns. As you can see below Mr. G (O's dad) had a blast in there.

The lastly we got to go into the "party room" where we had lunch, cake, and opened presents.

18 month a 4 year Check ups

I promise I have lots of blogs that will have pictures posted, but right now I thought I would share the girls checkups. The both happen about a week apart.

Caelyn - 18 months
Height - 32 inches
*she went though a 2 inch growth spurt. She is officially above the 50% percentile in height, actual she is in the 62%.
Weight - 23 lbs 10 oz
*because of the growth spurt she actually lost some weight (well and walking). She is officially in the 40%.

Caelyn is doing so much now, she is walking, running, walking backwards (which is a big thing), kicking a ball, throwing a ball, "jumping", and so much more. She also has over 75 words and speaks in 2-3 word sentences. Today she actually woke up calling for "mommy" and referring to me as mommy. Since she has been talking I have been daddy. I am do glad to finally hear mommy come out of her mouth. Her favorite words are Daddy, Chloe, and Kodie (grandma and grandpa's dog). She also is self feeding with a fork and spoon. She has started drinking out of a big girl cup (does this mean no more sippy cups are in our future??). She also has recently started telling us when she is "wet" and "poopy" which could be beginning signs of potty training. But of course no pressure form me. She will do it when she's ready. I guess I will have to break out the potty chair sooner than I did with Chloe.

Chloe - 4 years
Height - 42 inches
*this girl is tall. She defiantly got her daddy's heights. By next year she will probably be really close to all the height requirements for the Disney rides.
Weight- 39.5 lbs
*she is actually alot lighter then I had thought she was. The doctor actually told us her body mass index which was at 45%. So she is in the normal range (phew). The doctor was very proud that she is in gymnastics and loves that she does a physical activity.

Man, what isn't Chloe doing. She can ride a big girl bike (with training wheels), she can hit a ball off a tee, she can play hop scotch, she can almost jump rope, and so much more. She loves to play with her Disney Princesses and Polly Pockets, she loves cooking with mommy, and wrestling with Daddy. She also loves going to the lake with Grandma and Grandpa. And of course spending time with Aunt Cindy. She always ask about Aunt Lisa and Jen and if she is getting a package (which I think is funny).

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

I promise I will post about Chloe's birthday in as soon as possible, but I wanted to take a moment to say Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss. Today at Chloe's school they celebrated by hosting a Green Eggs and Ham breakfast as well as having is be silly hat day.

You can also see the awesome shirt my aunt Lisa and Jennifer made Chloe for her birthday. I got so many complements on it during her friends' party. =)

Valentine's Day 2010

Three years ago we started a tradition with going to White Castle for Valentine's Day. We wanted to do something fun with Chloe. A friend of Dave's from work told him about it and we decided we would give it a shot. Well three years later we are still loving this tradition.

Note: The pictures where Chloe isn't present means she was the one taking the picture. She does a pretty good job doesn't she. =)
