Great Godfrey Corn Maze 2010

This year we met our friends Leanne, Aaron, and Olivia at the Godfrey Corn Maze. If you have never been you should go it is so much fun. This years theme was Alice and Wonderland (last year it was medieval times). This is the "map" of what the maze would look like if you were above it.
Dave and the girls riding the tea cup train.

Olivia and her daddy on the tea cup train.
Caelyn hanging outside the corn pit.

Olivia and her daddy playing in the corn pit.
Chloe had no issues with diving into the corn.

This is the only decent picture I got of Caelyn actually in the corn. The dad's buried the girls so us mom's could get a good photo opt, Leanne did you get a good picture, cause this was the best I got.

Halloween Pictures 2010

Here are the girls Halloween pictures that I had taken. I had to wait to share because the pictures were part of my Aunt Lisa's birthday gift. Actually my Aunt Lisa is the one that made Chloe's outfit. And as you can see for yourself it is totally awesome. I think next year (well maybe in March) I will start looking for ideas for the girls and make their costumes. Maybe do coordinating ones like my mom and Aunt Lisa use to do for my sister and I.
Mary Poppins

Minnie Mouse

Alittle side note, Chloe was so worried that everyone would think she was the real Mary Poppins she asked me if people at the mall would ask for her autograph.

Prin.cess on I.ce

For Caelyn's birthday (and a special treat for Chloe) we took the girls to see Disn.ey's Classic Princesses on Ice. It was so much fun. I have to say that it was worth every penny just to hear Caelyn scream, "Miiinnniieee!"when Mickey and Minnie took the ice. Serisouly brought me to tears.

Aladin

Sleeping Beauty

Little Mermaid
Beauty & the Beast

Cinderella

The Ending

This day made me even more excited to take the girls to Dis.ney. January 22 can't get here fast enough.

W.DW here comes the Wasems!!

And the Parkin's, Abernathy, and Walker! Yes you read that right, my great Aunt Jean, Uncle Gary, and Aunt Loretta will be venturing up from Cape Coral/St. James City Florida, to spend a couple days with us at Disn.ey World! We are so excited.

Wanna know a big secret? For Chloe's birthday she will be treated like a princess. How do you ask, well because she will be heading to the Bippity Boppity Boutique inside Cinderella's Castle for some royal treatment.

picture above and below were found online via a google image search.

Note:The picture of the tiara's was found online also. From what I can find out about it is this, they are in the hallway of the boutique & each one represents a princess.
L-R Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), and Belle.

P.S. Yes I know I need to update with pictures of the girls. I promise I will. I have a bunch of pictures but I need to get a very special (and late) birthday present in the mail for our Aunt Lisa before I can post somethings. =)

2010-2011 first Day of School

I waited a bit to post this because I wanted to also post the pictures of Caelyn as well. So why did I have to wait you ask, well because Caelyn's birthday isn't until September 3, she could not start preschool until after she turned 2. For the past three weeks she would be so excited to take Chloe to school and she wanted to stay at school herself. I felt so bad that she couldn't stay. Well today was finally the day. Thankfully Dave was off cause I figured I would be a crying mess, but I was not. We all went into Caelyn's room with her and dropped her off. Chloe helped Caelyn find her nam and put it on the attendance board, then I helped her hang her backpack up. Daddy got her at the table to play with a try activity then she started to catch on. Chloe gave her a kiss, then I did, but when Daddy when to give her his kiss, she didn't want him to leave. She was a big girl though and didn't cry, she just didn't want him to leave (so much for wanting mommy). So we had to change the game plan a bit and let Dave leave first while the teacher tried to distract her. But as fair as we could tell she didn't cry.
Chloe on the other had was a pro on her first day of school (August 17). She knew where her name was and what locker was her to put her stuff in. She litterally kissed Caelyn and I while pushing us out the door. She was so excited to start the new school year and make new friends.

Caelyn Jean: Second year in pictures

Today is our Caelyn Jean's second birthday. Little did I know back in Dec of 2007 our life would finally become complete a short 9 months later. I am so blessed that she is apart of our family and she truely completes everyone in our little family. This second year was so much fun and we can't wait to see what this new year will bring us.
