Well it is finally starting to warm up (I mean stay about 40 degrees during the day) so we have been outside more often. We have been working on the yard, our plants, and I have the itch to do flower planters for our patio. Oh and our patio will officially be finished in May. I was hoping soon, but its the best that can be done. My crocuses did not bloom this year, which makes me sad but I have tons of tulip buds. I expect them to open any day now (even though all over St. Louis they are already blooming). My hydrangea is also starting to bud as well. I was thinking I would even be daring and read up on how to change the color of the hydrangea. Last summer it was a bluish purple. I was thinking pink

for this year. How fun would that be. So I have already got plans for this fall. A friend of mine's husband is a certified arborist. So she said he would more than likely come over to help pick out new tulips, crocus, and daffodils to make the yard more colorful. And it will be cheap because apparently he changes out his tulip bulbs every year (even though it is only recommended every 3 years). So she also said I could just take the old bulbs. I told her if he came over, I would buy the beer and the meet for a BBQ. I figured I would also ask for fall blooms too. I want color spring summer and fall. - If you are wondering who this friend is, it is Chloe's best friend Miss A's mom and dad. Dave and A's dad enjoy getting together to talk fishing.

So since we have been outside we have put Chloe's porch swing to use. This was the first time it was cleaned off this year, not to be the last since it gets extremely dust on the porch. It was Caelyn's first time in a swing. Chloe was alittle jealous because we made the HUGE mistake in telling her that we were getting her a swing set for her birthday, but since we have had some financial things come up we can't afford it this year so she will get one next year

(none of us will settle..lol. Not even Grandpa). We did take my parents patio swing so if you are worried Chloe does have a swing she can use. Caelyn seemed to enjoy the swing but not the sun in her eyes so much. As you can tell the hat on her head is HUGE. It was Chloe's hat and well Chloe has a huge head while Caelyn's head is proportionate to her body. We use the front yard so we can avoid any presents Punkin has left but once the swing se gets put in one of us (cough-Dave-cough) will be picking those presents up.
