My mom and I were talking yesterday. And she said, "July 2 is not a sad day. It was one of the happiest days of my life, it is not a sad day." July 2 is Nicole birthday. It is the day that made Don and Stephanie parents, me a sister, Bone, Bernice, Bill and Peggy Grandparents, my aunts and uncles aunts and uncles. It was a good day, no it was a GREAT day. It is not a sad day.
While I miss her and this day specifically makes me think of her, it is not a sad day. It is a day to think of the good times. It is the time to think of the many memories I forever will cherish. It is the time to think of the amazing life she lived and those she touched. It is the time to realized she was amazing, amazing enough to have 4 of her friends want her name apart of their child's name. Even though tears might be shed, it is not a sad day.
