Package #2 - Part 1

So we have had the package for a while, but Chloe just would not put the items on. She gets weirdo shy sometimes. So with alittle bribery (m&ms) I got her to put them on. She loved them. Oh but she wanted to where mommy's high heels not Chloe's.

Superstar Chloe

1950's Diva Chloe
Okay this next wrap totally makes me think of the 50s and I can so picture my Grandma Walker wearing this outfit.

Package #1

My Aunt Lisa has made Chloe some dress up clothes. And we received the first package last week. And let me just say WOW! This outfit is amazing. I know what we are wearing for Halloween this year. It was a Queen costume. And no expense was spared. We still have one more box to wait on (well really we got it yesterday, I just wanna get pictures of the cool things from that box before revealing it all). Enjoy Queen Chloe.

This is the same aunt that helped my mom make my sister and I He-Man and She-Ra, Michael Jackson, and Boy George, Minnie Mouse and Daisey Duck, and so many more.

Zoo with Miss A and Mr W

We headed to the Zoo with Miss A and Mr W the other day. It was lots of fun. We were introduced to Zoomanation Station, which is a new play area in the Living World for kids. It has everything from a pretend play area to be a Vet, to crafts, to reading books. It is really cool for the kids. The theme of course is conservation so everything had to deal with nature and animals. It is free and you get to play for 45 minutes. Of course Chloe (who's new thing is having issues with saying good bye and leaving) didn't think it was fair to have to leave. I promised her we would go back.

So after the Zoomanation, we had a picnic lunch then went to the Children's' Zoo. I could not believe Miss A and Mr W had never been. Not the Mr W really got anything out of it. But Chloe loves the Children's Zoo. The summer time in the CZ brings more things to do though compared to the early spring. Here are some pictures from the time in the CZ as well as our ride on the train. We can NEVER leave the Zoo without riding the train. It is something Chloe insists on, thus why we are Zoo Members.

Spring time

Well it is finally starting to warm up (I mean stay about 40 degrees during the day) so we have been outside more often. We have been working on the yard, our plants, and I have the itch to do flower planters for our patio. Oh and our patio will officially be finished in May. I was hoping soon, but its the best that can be done. My crocuses did not bloom this year, which makes me sad but I have tons of tulip buds. I expect them to open any day now (even though all over St. Louis they are already blooming). My hydrangea is also starting to bud as well. I was thinking I would even be daring and read up on how to change the color of the hydrangea. Last summer it was a bluish purple. I was thinking pink for this year. How fun would that be. So I have already got plans for this fall. A friend of mine's husband is a certified arborist. So she said he would more than likely come over to help pick out new tulips, crocus, and daffodils to make the yard more colorful. And it will be cheap because apparently he changes out his tulip bulbs every year (even though it is only recommended every 3 years). So she also said I could just take the old bulbs. I told her if he came over, I would buy the beer and the meet for a BBQ. I figured I would also ask for fall blooms too. I want color spring summer and fall. - If you are wondering who this friend is, it is Chloe's best friend Miss A's mom and dad. Dave and A's dad enjoy getting together to talk fishing.

So since we have been outside we have put Chloe's porch swing to use. This was the first time it was cleaned off this year, not to be the last since it gets extremely dust on the porch. It was Caelyn's first time in a swing. Chloe was alittle jealous because we made the HUGE mistake in telling her that we were getting her a swing set for her birthday, but since we have had some financial things come up we can't afford it this year so she will get one next year (none of us will settle..lol. Not even Grandpa). We did take my parents patio swing so if you are worried Chloe does have a swing she can use. Caelyn seemed to enjoy the swing but not the sun in her eyes so much. As you can tell the hat on her head is HUGE. It was Chloe's hat and well Chloe has a huge head while Caelyn's head is proportionate to her body. We use the front yard so we can avoid any presents Punkin has left but once the swing se gets put in one of us (cough-Dave-cough) will be picking those presents up.

She loves to Eat!!

We have started Caelyn on solid foods. Well really we started back when we were in Florida (I know, I know. I need to get those pictures up. My parents are home and I will be getting them soon). Well, she loves to eat her solids. She would rather have them over her bottle. But she gets the majority of her nutrition from her bottle so she is out of luck there. We have also started working on a cup. I was going through pictures of Chloe and it looks like she was on a cup by 9 months with only have a morning and night time bottle. So I have some work to do. =) Please excuse the Halloween bib. When your just starting to eat you are messy and well we use ALL our bibs. And if you were wondering this particular meal was bananas and butternut squash, all homemade by me.
