The first weekend in October we went to my Uncle Lee's farm. Back in the day, my grandpa, Uncle Lee, and their friend Jack all had a farm together (I think) they they would go to. My grandpa was not a hunter, but he was a fisherman so he would fish the Gasconade River since it ran through the property. I don't know a whole lot about the Ranch because I was either not around, or really young (but I think i wasn't around). I do know the name of the farm was LBJ for, Lee, Bones, and Jack. Well, since then Grandpa and Jack have passed. Uncle Lee bought his new farm last year (I think) and has been working on it with his kids. So he had a party to celebrate the ranch. They had a pig roast, hayrides, square dancing and a bonfire. I didn't take a bunch of pictures since I was visiting people I haven't seen for a long time and trying to keep an eye on the girls. I did get to meet a young man named Jackie (Jack's son) who my mom knew growing up. I also found out that Jackie had a crush on my mom (he is 5 or 6 years younger) back when she got married and Dave and I swear he still does..lol. But the funny thing is Jackie apparently asked my mom on her wedding day if she for sure really wanted to married my dad. I think that is HILARIOUS!!! He had such a big crush on my mom he was worried she was doing the wrong thing, well Jackie I hate to break it to you but they did the right thing. They are still married and have been for almost 35 years now.
