Pregnancy post

I would just like to take a second and say something about being pregnant and alive. With everything that pregnant women worry about or the new "findings" saying it's bad for you to do this, eat that, etc while being pregnant, I find it absolutely a miracle that so many of us survived past the fetus stage, heck even the embryo stage. I am one that fully believes that if God didn't want us to have the knowledge of things he wouldn't make them execessable, but seriously everything is in his hands whether you eat that lunch meat or drink the regualr soda while pregnant.

Okay that being said I will explain alittle bit on why I am having this rant/post. I lurk on a specific board about pregnancy now that I am pregnant. I tend to look to see if someone asked something I would be interested in knowing about or if there is a question I feel I can answer I answer it. But there are so many pregnant girls out there that seriously are alittle crazed now that they are pregnant. Now mind you, I have no issues on becoming pregnant and that might be why I feel some of this is silly. But seriously, no deli meat? Guess what world, I had a wonderful turkey sandwich the other day and I did not heat my meat up. Oh and one day, I ate a hot dog. Someone beat me. Oh and I also ate Feta cheese and will this week too when I make gyros. I guess my friend who's little girl is perfectly normal in her womb should be stoned for drinking soda while she was pregnant (sometimes I think she sneaks them still too..lol).

So the main point of all this is I can't believe the world exsisted prior to now. Seriously, how did I live, I am pretty sure my mom smoked while pregnant with my sister and I. And NO for those who know, the smoking had nothing to do with what Nicole had. Nicole was destined for her path and the smoking didn't make it happen nor help it happen. I know for a fact that I was brought home in the back seat of a car on my Grandma's lap. Oh no, child abuse. Now I know that some of the things have taken place to insure the safetyl of our children and I would never think of letting Chloe go without her carseat. But has anyone else ever thought about this? I would bet my Grandma smoked with my mom and her sisters.

Okay so moral of this post is this, I can't believe I am alive, nor my mom, my dad, my aunts, etc. Cause back then we were neanderthals.
