Fall Leaves

Back in mid- November we were invited to the lake house of the Reinenger Family. Their daughter Allie is in Chloe's class. Ad they, plus a little girl Olivia, are inseparable. It is very cute how the three of them act. If one of them gets to school early and the other two aren't there, they don't want to say 9or their mom to leave). But the minute one of the other girls walk through the door the world is much better.

So we went to their lake house for a pot luck, hot chocolate, s'mores, and LEAVES! The kids had so much fun rolling, jumping, and diving into the big leaf pile they had. I seriously think they rakes all their neighbor's leaves into their back yard. The pile was huge. I don't think Chloe left the pile other than for 3 marshmallows and a drink of water. She was in the pile until we left, and that was a battle. Her and Dave had a lot of fun. Dave also ad fun (and made dad friends). He was so excited to learn there was a lake that close and 2 other dads that like to fish around the clock like he does. He mentioned on the way home that he needs to bring one of his poles home just in case Jimmy (Olivia's dad) or Bill (Allie's dad) call to go fishing. Oh and Megan (Allie's mom) was/is our swim teacher! She is very cool. She told Chloe if she learned to blow bubbles in the water she could come swimming at their lake house ( I guess I need to really get going on my diet..lol).

This is right before Dave "tackled" Chloe. You can really see the blur from the night setting. I think it is cool.
