New Years Eve

Chloe was being a stinker and did not want to stop playing to get her picture taken, thus she covered her head in protest.

I promise I will get all caught up. For New Years Eve we were invited by the Gehm family to a kid friendly NYE party. It was held at Mr. Gehm's school in his class, he is a gym teacher but I think he likes to be called health education. All the parents had fun playing games as well, there was a mini dodge ball game that took place the entire time as well as carting around on floats. This gym even had a rock climbing wall.

At about 8:45 we had a parade where all the kids rode "floats" and the parents pulled them around the gym. The kids got noise makers to blow as they rode around. It was a loud fun time.
After the parade, it was time for the ball drop (at 8 pm of course). One of the dad's brought a lap top and hooked up a video stream from a past ball drop in Time Square, we did the count down then we had a balloon drop and played with a parachute. All in all it was a great way to spend NYE with the girls and our friends.
