Backtracking a bit here but after almost 5 years of being in our house, we still don't have it completely decorated (alot of that has to do with that honeymoon surprise). So in Dec of 07 we finally got our own bed set (thank you Aunt Cindy) as a gift. While I had the bedspread and everything already picked out, I never could find window treatments. Well long story short this spring I finally found some. I got a new curtain rod (since the old didn't match) and I decided to hang them one morning while Dave was at work. The packaging of course comes with the Styrofoam junk. Well how's kid doesn't like to break it apart and cause a mess, not my kid. Chloe had one piece and made it look like a blizzard came through our house. So what did this mean ole mommy do. I made her clean it up.
I hear quite often from my mom that I need to work with the girls to pick up their things on their own. If you know me you know I don't clean good at all and I have heard my mom say that sometimes she thinks it is because she would just do it to get it done faster instead of making my sister and I clean. Well, someones gotta do it since I seriously suck at cleaning. So hopefully mu slave driving to make my kid (Caelyn really isn't old enough yet but she does sit with us) clean will turn her into a better cleaner than I.
Note that I did have to go back over where she vacuumed because she did miss some spots, but I would say she got 95% of the mess.
