Wow it is amazing how much blogging I can do since Chloe is in Florida. Or really is this just proof that I am avoiding the work that I need to do around that house. Well after my late night last night I decided that I would take a break and show you my awesome morning find for Chloe's bedroom. I got up checked my email (no I will not achieve getting to work on the room before noon today) and I had a Pottery Barn Kids sale email. I love checking them out but rarely is anything cheap enough for me to say, "lets get it." Well this time there was. I found Gingham drape shades that will match the gingham in her quilt for ONLY $11.99 a piece. I am super excited. I called my mom just to make sure I should buy them, how funny is that I called my mom and not Dave..lol. But she said to "jump on them." So I ordered them. Go Me!! So at this point all that will be needed to do before Chloe can move in is:
- Rip up the existing carpet and see how the hard wood looks
- get the hardwood refinished if it looks good enough for a easy fix or get carpet (I don't want carpet)
- Tear down old closet organizer and install new closet organizer
- Go out and look for and purchase a dresser and chest for her room
Not to bad in my opinion. I think we will have her in the room no later than mid August. Then that transition begins. Don't worry though, I will keep you updated on the progress.
