The guys came yesterday and today to refinish the hardwood floors in Chloe's new room. They look great and at a great price of 2 buck per square foot (ask me for their number if you would like!!) That are also coming to the house on Monday to touch up a couple spots in the hallway where we accidentally dripped in the past as well. But these guys rock. My dad uses them for his company and I have to say, they have done our entire house now. I am extremely pleased with their workmanship and professionalism. They literally squeezed us in because the owner knew Chloe was out of town with my parents (then she didn't have to stay the night at grandma and grandpa's house because of the smell). I can't get in the room yet, I have to wait till tomorrow to walk on it but here is a picture from the door.
So what is left to do you ask. Most the the things will be done before Chloe gets home on Sunday. But I have two items that will have to wait for my dad. He wants to make sure it is done right, that is the builder in him. And the last item my mom has to be home for because she is getting the furniture for Chloe (well I need Chloe too because I want her to "help" pick it out as well). Here is the list:
- install new closet organizer
- install roman shades
- install base boards (dad)
- install chair rails (dad)
- purchase furniture
