This will be the last post for the evening since I would like to try and get started on the room again tomorrow before noon..lol But here step three, the first coat of paint. Now I have to say, I was never a girly girl. I know a shock to most of you..NOT. But for some reason I felt compelled to paint Chloe's room with a pink color. Total shock I know. But here is the end of tonight's progress. With the picture you can kinda see the shape of the room too. It's a square room, but where the door is placed it is like a mini entranceway.
On a side note: isn't it amazing how all of a sudden something hits you and you start missing someone? Out of no where I started thinking about someone I grew up with (Matt H) and how he just achieved his 1st wedding anniversary. Then I started thinking about how it was a very nice surprise that in his program for his wedding, he and Wendy mentioned Nicole in their memorial section. Then bam, I am crying while painting. It was a half sad cry and half a happy cry. I was extremely happy that they acknowledged her. Sometimes I wonder if people outside of my immediate family even think of her daily. And he did, he thought of her enough to include her on his wedding day. Then of course, I get sad because I sit there thinking if she was here, she would be sniffing paint fumes with me and we would be laughing. Okay, so that is my crazy, hormonal late night side note.
